This page will assist you with information on the villa and the check in/check out procedures.We have partnered with Palmetto Dunes Resorts which is the first driveway inside the Palmetto Dunes property. You will check in with PD Resorts at their welcome center where you will be provided a key less entry to the villa and answer any questions you may have. 7 days prior to your arrival we will send you a reservation confirmation that you will present at the front desk. As our guests you are entitled to many dining, rental and golf and tennis discounts. Please ask for details at check in.

Car passes are picked up at the Palmetto POA at the drive thru window. Please display the car pass on your dash board for the duration of your stay. Security routinely checks for passes on our property.

Linens  You will find your accommodations fully equipped and supplied with all bed and bath linens. You will need to bring your own beach towels, beach blankets and cooler. Your accommodations are cleaned before and after your visit. There is not a daily maid service. There is a washer and dryer in your villa. A starter supply of bath soaps and paper products are provided. We also have a self serve linen closet and you are welcome to use any of our linens, provided you launder them and place back in the closet at the end of your stay.  We also have a self serve beach closet with limited beach chairs for your use during your stay.

Maintenance: From time to time unexpected maintenance issues comes up. Palmetto Dunes has on site staff to address any needs you may have. Call the front desk for service or you can call or text us directly and we will schedule service for you.

Cable, telephone and internet service:  Internet and TV service is tested before each guest stay. The channel guide and remote directions is provided in our welcome book. The internet/Wi-Fi  password will be included in your check in packet. If you have any problems with the remote just call the front desk for help. We also have a DVD player in the living room.
The land line phone can be used for local calls, the phone does not have long distance service.
Trash and Recycle: There are two trash cans located in the front storage shed. Trash is picked up twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday. Recycling in marked bin picked up on Wednesday.
Pest Control: Hilton Head is a tropical island and there are bugs. The unit is treated by St Andrews monthly. Service log located in kitchen cabinet door. If service is refused there is a $30 return service fee.
Things to Know About Our Island

Beach Access:  We are about a mile from the Palmetto Dunes beach. You can enter the beach thru the Dunes House. There is limited parking at Dunes house, or you can bike ride or take the free Dunes Buggy shuttle from our complex. Our guests are entitled to a 10% discount at the Dunes House patio resturant. Chair and umbrella rentals are available at the beach.

Riding Bikes/Roller Blades: When using the bike paths, please be careful and considerate of others. Always let people that are in front of you know you are coming by saying “Passing on Your Left”.

Sand Dunes: The Dunes prevent damage and erosion to our beautiful beaches. When accessing the beach use the boardwalks designated for beach access. It is illegal to pick or damage Sea Oats growing in the dunes and you will be fined significantly.

Alligators: It is illegal to feed alligators or any wildlife on Hilton Head. Alligators are generally quiet if they are left alone, but they can move very quickly and often run toward people if provoked. DO NOT feed them and DO NOT let your children play near them.

Insects: No-see-ums, mosquitoes, and sand flees are a fact of life on the island. Insect repellant is your best friend.

Sea Turtles: During the months of May and August, female Loggerhead Sea Turtles (which are federally listed as a threatened species) come ashore to lay their eggs. The young hatch at night from July through October and immediately head for the sea. It is against the law to disturb the turtle’s nest or endanger the turtles in any way.

Fireworks: the discharging of fireworks on the beach is prohibited

Alcohol: Alcohol is also prohibited on the beach in any form. The beaches are patrolled regularly.

Landscape: Landscaping is expensive. Do not drive or drop bikes on the irrigation or grassy areas.
